eMINDcipation: critical thinking for a more inclusive and sustainable society

Location: Lyon, France, France

Description:

Critical thinking is an essential skill for success in today's world. It allows us to better understand the world, make more informed decisions, and contribute to a better future. For Greek, Spanish, Belgian, and French participants.

Critical thinking skills are crucial in today's society. With the proliferation of information and fake news, it is essential to be able to think critically in order to discern truth from falsehood. Furthermore, in an increasingly connected world, it is important to understand the interactions between different actors and the various components of a system in order to make informed decisions.

This training course has been designed to provide new perspectives on this topic, to deconstruct some beliefs and prejudices you may have, and to bring new tools to weigh an idea, debate and analyze it.

Switching between theory and practice and using a diverse range of methods, the course will invite you to put your own beliefs and behaviors into perspective, compare and contrast points of view, conduct critical analyses of different approaches, field-test concepts introduced during the course, learn from others' experiences and investigate practical ways to promote more inclusive societies, encourage diversity, fight discrimination, and take action for the planet.

By the end of the course you will have advanced your perception of the topic addressed and gained knowledge and skills to form your own opinion and define ways to act accordingly.
